The Difference between Free-range and Caged Eggs

  • Free range eggs have less cholesterol than caged eggs, to be more precise, 1/3 of the cholesterol in caged eggs. Reducing the cholesterol intake will be good for the heart, but also for the waistline.
  • It is true that both type of eggs contain Vitamin A, but the free-range have 25% more vitamin A compared to caged eggs.
  • The free-range eggs have two times more Omega 3 than cage eggs.

Coconut Flour: The Best Choice

Using coconut flour is the best choice since your recipe will remain gluten-free. This flour is rich in nutrients and has a number of health benefits, almost like the coconut.

  • oconut flour is rich in fiber, but low in calories and sugar. Moreover, it has low glycemic index. Those foods which have low glycemic index do not raise the blood sugar. Namely, consuming coconut oil is going to help you reduce the impact of sugars in general.
  • This type of flour has healthy saturated fats. These fats are vital for the body, since they provide energy and stimulate the metabolism.
  • Coconut flour is rich in both insoluble and soluble fiber, thereby it reduces the bad cholesterol levels.

These properties of the coconut flour make it an ideal alternative for people who have leaky gut syndrome, diabetes or any type of digestive problems.
